WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR FOR A NEWBORN SESSION

A simple black or white vest or top works well. Keep the colour neutral and design simple.
Please use a very natural colour nail polish as your hands will make their way into the images and whatever you’re wearing, make sure that it is ok if we end up with little accidents happening.  If you are concerned about your arms, I would recommend you definitely to bring long sleeves items or ¾ sleeve length tops.
Please consider having an extra outfit, in case your baby decides to go to the bathroom, whilst we are taking photos of you holding them.
Just as they encourage in hospital, skin to skin contact creates the most beautiful images and these are the picture you and your baby will cherish most in the years to come!

MUMS

DADS

If you prefer not to be shirtless, I ask that you bring a plain, tight fitting v-neck t-shirt or shirt to wear with a pair of jeans or trousers. If possible avoid wearing tops with big logos. A simple, white collared shirt with sleeves that can roll up is also nice. Make sure your clothes are ironed. It is an absolute nightmare to remove creases out of shirts.

Very often I photograph dads with no tops on. Of course, it is up to each of you if you want to do that. Sometimes dads want to show their tattoos, and I would either then photograph dad with no top on or maybe something like tank top/sleeveless top on.

If you wish your photos to look more formal, you can bring a few shirts too. Dark and light, and avoid lines in clothing.

SIBILINGS

Neutral colour dress or top with tutu dress or a for a little sister and little boys look super precious in classic, natural attire such as blue jeans with a simple top in a lighter colour, such as beige, cream or white.

I WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO YOU SOON!
