Over the past 8 years of working with newborns and meeting so many amazing families, I’ve seen just how much parents appreciate the comfort of an at-home session. Those first few weeks with a newborn are full of learning curves—you’re still figuring things out, and the idea of leaving the house for a photoshoot can feel like a big task.

 

That’s why I bring everything to you.

 

I’ll arrive with professional lighting, wraps, and soft props—everything we need to create a cozy studio setup in your home. And while I always send a prep guide before the session, the truth is: newborn shoots are beautifully unpredictable. Babies need breaks, feeds, cuddles—and yes, sometimes they wee or poop on the props (happens almost every session!). At home, it’s no stress—you’ve got your changing mat, your comfy chair, a spare outfit, and your own space to just be.

 

It’s especially helpful for families with siblings. They can join in for special photos, then go back to playing with their toys in their own room while we focus on baby. And when we take those heart-melting baby + parent shots? Your baby might have a little accident on you (it happens all the time!)—but you’re home, and it’s so easy to change and reset.

 

At-home sessions aren’t just about convenience—they’re about making the whole experience calm, personal, and enjoyable. My goal is to capture beautiful, natural memories without the pressure of a studio setting.

When to Book

 

 

The ideal time for a newborn shoot is between 5–14 days old, while your baby is still very sleepy and curled. Booking early is recommended, but if your little one has already arrived—don’t worry! I’ll always do my best to fit you in.
