Newborn workshop
So recently I had a pleasure to attend newborn workshop at Dinky Feet's Photography in Sheffield with lovely Maggie. I had such a great time. From the moment she opened door to her studio I could feel is going to be a really exiting workshop and I am going to learn a lot. From the beginning I felt that Maggie is the best person to go for some new tips and techniques. She is not one of this people who will tell you only good staff about your work. She will tell you exactly where you should improve and give you some merciless criticism :) At around 9.30 we started with posing techniques and I learned such grat tips . Maggie is the one of this people who really invest in her training and she attended a lot of workshops so she was able to give me some tips from some of the top photographers in the industry. After that we had a lovely lunch and then we started editing part. I drove t her for 6 h in total, but it was so worth it. Newborn photography is not easy, in fact it was really tough for me when I started. There is much more to learn in newborn photography then how to take a proper exposed photographs and know how to shoot in manual mode. You have to be really patient, you need to know that everything takes time and believe in yourself, creating visualisation of success. Everything have to work perfectly - your camera settings, lighting, posing, calming techniques. Every newborn is different and as a mobile photographer I am exposed to different lighting scenarios all the time. I believe traning, workshops are the best investments for photographers as is always nice to meet other photographers who will teach you different things. Although It was just my second newborn workshop in live I am already planning to took next training with Roberta B. who is absolutely stunning with her editing skills and I would love to take one of her classes. I think one of exiting thinks about newborn photography is that you cant be just good enough, you have to always improving your skills and can't just stop developing your skills, there is so much to learn and I don't think I will ever come to conclusion that I know all!
