NEWBORN SESSION-DAD AND THE BABY

Today I would like to share with you my experience working with dads during newborn session. I share this with you today in the hope of convincing all new dads out there to get in front of camera with your newborn baby. A portrait of a father and their newborn baby really is a special memory to savour. As we know not all men are really into pictures and sometimes making dad as comfortable as possible is the key to achieve these precious newborn pictures you will treasure forever. During prints poses and individual images of the baby I always stand on the stool to make angle for best for your body and make the most flattering pictures. My aim is to concentrate focus on the newborn baby but still show lovely connection between parents and baby.

I also like to emphasise dads strength and masculinity and posing a newborn baby in the outstretched arm produces the cutes shots. Usually I would ask dad to take off his shirt and explain that his stomach area will be covered by baby. It is just important to make dad as comfortable as possible.

Dads are great help during newborn photoshoot and maybe I will surprise you but Ive been photographing newborn Abbies for over 6 years and I would say 98% dads participate during session and are great help even with choosing headband and outfits for newborn abby are well as cleaning p
